Fhrends – Terms of Use

Fhrends is a social network created to connect people, communities, and organizations in a safe, innovative, and interactive digital environment. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Fhrends, including website, apps, features, content, services, and technologies offered (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account or using Fhrends, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1. The services we provide

Our mission is to bring people and communities closer together, allowing you to express yourself and build real connections. We provide:

1.1 Personalized experience – content, posts, groups, and suggestions based on your interactions, preferences, and settings.

1.2 Connection with people and organizations – we help you find friends, communities, events, and brands relevant to you.

1.3 Freedom of expression – you can share photos, videos, messages, stories, and participate in groups, as long as you respect these Terms.

1.4 Relevant content and ads – we display ads, promotions, and sponsored content aligned with your interests (see Section 2).

1.5 Safety and integrity – we invest in tools and teams to keep Fhrends secure, prevent abuse, and protect our community.

1.6 Accessible technology – we use AI and other solutions to make Fhrends accessible and functional for everyone.

2. How our services are funded

Fhrends is free to use. Our costs are covered by advertisers, who pay to display ads and sponsored content.

• We use data such as your interactions and interests to show more relevant ads.

• We do not sell your personal information.

• We do not share data that directly identifies you (such as email or phone number) without your explicit permission.

• We may provide advertisers with reports on reach and engagement, without disclosing your identity.

You can adjust ad preferences in your privacy settings.

3. Your commitments to Fhrends

To keep our community healthy, you must:

3.1 Eligibility requirements

• Use your real name and provide accurate information.

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Not have had an account previously disabled for violating these Terms.

• Not be legally prohibited from using our Services.

3.2 Behavior and content
You must not:

• Post illegal, discriminatory, misleading, violent, or infringing content.

• Share content you do not own without authorization.

• Use the platform for fraud, spam, viruses, or malicious activity.

• Collect data automatically without our permission.

• Sell, license, or trade data obtained from Fhrends without authorization.

3.3 License over your content

• You retain ownership of content you post.

• By posting, you grant Fhrends a worldwide, free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, distribute, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

• When you delete content or your account, this license ends (except when required by law or when content was shared by others).

3.4 Use of your image and name in ads

• We may use your name, profile photo, and interactions (likes, event participation, etc.) alongside ads shown to your contacts, without additional compensation.

4. Account management

4.1 Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our policies.

• There is legal or security risk to the community.

• Your account remains inactive for an extended period.

You will be notified and may appeal, except when prevented by law or serious security risks.

4.2 Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Content may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from our backup systems.

5. Limitation of liability

• Fhrends is provided “as is,” without guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free, or flawless operation.

• We are not responsible for the content or conduct of users or third parties.

• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or data.

6. Legal disputes

• If you reside in Brazil, these Terms are governed by Brazilian law.

• Disputes must be resolved in competent courts in your region, unless otherwise required by law.

7. Final provisions

• We may update these Terms to reflect improvements, legal, or security changes. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance.

• If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

• You may not transfer your account or rights without our permission.

• We may collect feedback and suggestions without obligation of compensation.
